The purpose of my visit was to review hydrology reports for GCC Energy's King Mine facilities
which apparently are not available on the DRMS Laserfiche system. My search of documents on your website
indicates that April 20, 2015, is the last date on which any hydrology reports were uploaded to Laserfiche. You
could save me a drive from Ft. Collins on Friday by clarifying how I might access more recent documents on
line, namely the 2nd and 3rd quarter 2015 surface and groundwater monitoring results and pond inspection
reports.
A second purpose for my planned Friday visit was to review the as -built drawings and related documents for the
design of the sedimentation basins at King I and King II mines. My review of the most recent 10 years of
NPDES discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) indicates that no surface discharges have ever been reported. My
interest in reviewing the file documents is to determine the amount and final disposition of water collected in the
sedimentation basins at both mines. You mentioned this afternoon that the basins are not lined with geo-
membrane liners. My questions then are as follows:
https://mail.googl e.com/m ai I/u/0/?ui=2&i k=e29129fcb5&view=pt&search= i nbox&th=15l258ca5b881709&si m l=151258ca5b881709 1/2
