Please be advised that if you are unable to satisfactorily <br />address any concerns identified in this review before the decision date, it will be your <br />responsibility to request an extension of the review period. If there are outstanding issues <br />that have not been adequately addressed prior to the end of the review period, and no <br />extension has been requested, the Division will deny this application. <br />1. As required by Rule 1.6.2(1)(g), please submit proof the public notice was circulated to all <br />owners of record of surface lands, and easement holders that are on the affected land and <br />within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice may be return receipts <br />of a Certified Mailing or by proof of personal service. <br />6.3.3 Exhibit C — Mining Plan <br />2. Exhibit E — Map #3 shows that tailings will be deposited from the shaker table into a steel <br />container. Please specify whether the tails will be dewatered prior to backfilling. <br />3. The Operator has indicated the water used for processing will be recirculated through three <br />settling tanks which will periodically need to be cleaned out. Please describe what the <br />Operator will do with the process water in the settling tanks when the tanks are cleaned or <br />during periods of inactivity such as during the winter months. Please note that water may not <br />be dumped or discharged to the ground surface without the appropriate discharge permit <br />from Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment — Water Quality Control <br />Division. <br />4.
