November 3, 2015 C-1981-035/King Coal Mine RAR <br />o Compaction and grading of material along the top of the refuse pile at King I continues with piles of refuse <br />placed and ready for grading (Photo <br />REVEGETA TION - Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />o The vegetative cover appeared to be doing well, due to the wet spring in 2015. At this time most vegetation <br />was dry with mature seed heads. <br />o Sediment pond slopes at both King I and II were well vegetated and appeared stable. They slopes appeared to <br />be well protected from erosion by wind and water. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION- Rule 4.17 <br />o Numerous trucks were travelling up and down the main King II haul road.
