King Coal Mine (C-1981-035) TR -20 Adequacy Review #3 Response <br />This submittal is in response to your letter of 30 June 2015, "King Coal Mine (Permit No. C-1981-035) <br />Technical Revision No. 20 (TR -20) — Use of Coal Mine Waste as Highwall Backfill, Second Adequacy <br />Review". <br />The Division's adequacy comments from the November 14, 2014 letter that were noted as "resolved" <br />are not addressed in this submittal. Comments which were not resolved are repeated below and <br />addressed as listed in your letter. <br />Section 2.05.3 Operation Plan — Permit Area <br />3. Subsection: "Topsoil" <br />a) This section should be revised to also address any storage of "topsoil" or "cover material". <br />The reader is directed to Section 2.05.4 for details regarding both topsoil and cover material. Please see <br />item 1d) under Permit Maps, below, and update either 2.05.3 or 2.05.4 as requested. <br />King Coal 30 June: Storage of "topsoil", "cover material" and "plant growth medium" has been <br />addressed in Section 2.05.4., page 5A. <br />DRMS Oct 201: This item is unresolved due to the following: <br />Section 2.05.4 revised pg. 4 does not seem to flow correctly between permit pgs. 4 and 5 and revised <br />pages 4 and 5A submitted. There is text missing at the end of the submitted page 4 revised page. <br />Please make sure page breaks are correctly placed and that all necessary text is included. <br />Please leave a line space between the headings: <br />Grading and Backfilling and <br />Mine Waste Rock Pile Reclamation <br />Please clarify: Does revised page 5A replace page 5 of the permit?
