Compliance With Mine Plan - Support Facilities Not On-site <br />NN <br /> - Other - Special Categories Of Mining <br />NN <br /> - Processing Waste - Topsoil <br /> <br /> <br />COMMENTS <br /> <br />A partial inspection was conducted by Rob Zuber of DRMS on October 21 - 22, 2015 (loadout only on the 22nd). <br />The NECC employee who participated in the on-the-ground field inspection was Vince Massarotti. <br />The weather was rainy at times. The ground was very muddy. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br />Regarding the west end of the DWDA2, where material has been removed in the recent past, the shape of <br />the pile has been graded to closely match the rest of the pile. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />This is culvert C19, which is next to the northwest corner of Pond 001A. Other culverts were inspected and found <br />to meet specifications (Table 21 in the PAP), and no problems were found; these include C-A, C17 and C39. <br />C17 needed to be cleaned; this was completed before the end of the inspection. <br />The western portion of the upland diversion ditch above the RDA, Ditch D55, was inspected. The cross section of <br />the ditch was found to meet the specification in the PAP (Table 20), and no problems were seen. However, there <br />is a shallow spot where maintenance will likely be required in the future, perhaps next year. <br /> <br />Ditch D61 along the haul road to the RDA was found to be smaller than the specification in the PAP. Table 20 <br />indicates that this ditch should be 9 feet wide and 1.8 feet deep.
