King Coal Mine (C-1981-035) TR-24 Adequacy Review #3 Response <br />King I mining phases have been removed from Map King I-001 and placed on Map King I-005. <br />DRMS 10/21/2015 <br />. Received efile on 20 October 2015, of updated Map King I-005 as <br />per 19 October phone conversation regarding pre law phases, AOI of highwall and <br />temporary stockpile area. <br /> <br />The efile submitted 22 October 2015 satisfactorily address Map King I 005. <br /> <br />For King I 007 map please respond to the following questions: <br /> <br />1.Will the disturbed area boundary be increased to encompass the Refuse Pile <br />Proposed Final Configuration Outline? <br /> <br />2.Where does Reach 1 discharge to? <br /> <br />3.What is the final discharge location of water from Reach 10? <br /> <br />4.How will the clean water ditch (Reach 1) be configured with respect to the Refuse <br />Pile Proposed Final Configuration Outline? <br /> <br />5.Does a buried leach line follow the road across the lower portion of the refuse <br />pile? <br /> <br />DRMS 10/21/2015: <br />In general for all maps please make them legible and easier to use as follows: <br /> <br />Orient all text horizontally from left to right (except waterways), eliminate upside <br />o <br />down, sideways etc. text. <br /> <br />Make sure text is not obscured, overlapped or overlapping other layers. <br />o <br /> <br />Please remove symbology from the map that is not pertinent to the map. <br />o <br /> <br /> In the legend, please call out all symbols used on the map. <br />o <br /> <br />Be aware of font size. Make it a legible size when printed and not overbearingly <br />o <br />bold which cause visual clutter on the map making it difficult to read and <br />understand. <br /> <br />As much as possible, remove duplicate text without sacrificing clarity to keep the <br />o <br />map uncluttered. <br /> <br />For crosssectio <br />o <br />cross section elevations can be verified with the cross section diagrams to the <br />right, for example in (Map 007C for TR25). Also, please make the 10 foot contour <br />lines thicker. <br /> <br />All elevation values should read from left to right with map facing up.
