The mine is a reclaimed surface mine. As <br />such, no mine personnel remain on the site. The contact office recently moved to the Foidel Creek office. Scott <br />Cowman remains the contact for the Seneca II West Mine. The inspector checked in by phone to let mine <br />personnel know when entering and leaving the property. Hunting season (3rd season) was active. Hunters were <br />camping at the shop area, but no hunters were observed on the reclaimed areas during the inspection. <br />The weather started out overcast and eventually began to rain lightly. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />Mine records were checked on 10/22/2015. Hydrology records remain stored at the Peabody Sage Creek <br />Mine office. All other records have been moved to the Foidel Creek Mine office. Permit binders, Annual <br />Hydrology reports, and Vegetation reports are currently in boxes in Scott Cowman's office at the Foidel Creek <br />Mine. <br />Surface water was sampled from ponds 6, 15, 16, and 17 on 10/13/2015. Analytical results were not back yet. <br />The inspector was unable to locate the Quarterly Pond inspection reports. No mine personnel were available to <br />help locate these files at the time. <br />Liability insurance certificate was up to date and contained the appropriate information. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE — Rule 4.18: <br />3rd Hunting season was in effect.
