Jason Musick -2- October 9, 2015
-4. The text has been revised to explain the operational and full build out configuration.
The expansion of gob pile #3 will be within the currently approved permit boundary. As the west side of
gob pile #3 is brought to grade, it will be reclaimed contemporaneously with subsoil from the coverfill
and topsoil stockpiles. As the stockpiles are exhausted, additional coverfill from the footprint will be
salvaged and temporarily stockpiled either west of gob pile #3, or on top of gob pile #3. Coal mine waste
will then be placed in the founding of the coverfill stockpile, brought to grade and reclaimed.
The expansion area for gob pile #3 is approximately 2.3 acres and is within the currently approved
disturbed area boundary.
Please feel free to contact me with questions.
Sincerely,
Tcw" f34kop-
Tamme Bishop, P.E.
Project Engineer
Enclosures:
Volume ll: Maps 15-1,3, 18, 20, 21-1,3, 22-J, 31
Volume XI: Text pages: 1, 2, 3, 4, 4b, 5, 6 & 10, Appendix A, Appendix B (operational).
