Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: 1) Earthworks A) VLF (PSSA, Phase 1, and 2) Structural Fill: The following Structural Fill haul to fill and grading activities occurred: Cat dozers graded the slope below stations H2+00 to H8+00. Cat dozers graded the slope between stations F28+00 to H28+00. A Cat smooth drum roller and a Cat excavator with a smooth drum roller attachment compacted the fill areas. A Cat excavator loaded John Deere 740 haul trucks with Structural Fill between stations HM4+00 to HM 10+00. The material was transported to the Phase 2 stockpile at station 14+00. A Cat dozer graded the slope above station 60+00 of the ADR haul road. Cat 740 haul trucks hauled spoils from station 60+00 to J2+00. A Cat dozer placed structural fill in the vicinity of J Bench. A dozer graded the slope below stations J10+00 to J12+00. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill areas. A Cat dozer placed stockpiled Structural Fill between stations N20+00 and N22+00. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill area. All of the above Structural Fill material was placed, compacted, and graded per the project plans and specifications.
