Pit 1
Reclamation in this area is addressed in i R -s. All Work has been completed per the EPA wetlands
mitigation plan. Secondary seeding will occur this fall to meet their standatd. All grading is complete
and meets the DRMS permit requirement.
Pit 2
Pit wall., are stabilized with vegetation. Most of the slopes have not beer, graded to the required 3:1
final slope. The pit perimeter is approAimately 3000 tt and appeared to be approximately a z:1 zlope. A
thin buffer between the Ana branch and the pit must remain .,o the majority of regrading will need to be
backfill. Sutticient Backfill and topsoil material is stockpiled on site.
Pit3
Nit is partially regraded properly. The south and west bank appear to be graded to 3:1 or less, however
the north and east bank appear to be slightly steeper and closer to 2:1 grading. i u letaill adequate
buffer between the pit and the Ana branch, the north bank will require backtill. The north bank slope is
approximately 45u ft long. The east back can be cut and tilled and is 200 ft Ions.
Pit 4
Pit walls are stabile with the west and southern bank having some volunteer vegetation. Banks appear
to be approAimately 1:1 sloped. The south and west banks will require backfilling to keep the Ana
branch Butter zone. The east bank will also likely need to be backfilled in order to keep the road
separating Nit 4 and 5 open. The road allows access to the pit south of the Ana branch as well as the
Gerhman Pit. Only the north 3zu ft could feasibly Be graded. A total of 1200 ft will be backfilled from
z.tockpiled materials.
Pit 5
All but the east bank is stabilized With vegetation. All slopes appear to be approximately 1:1 requiring
regrading. The north bank will require fill due to its close pronimity to the property Boundary. The east
and south Banks will require fill to maintain the Ana branch buffer zone. The west bank could be cut But
fill is more feasible in order to maintain the access road that runs between pond 4 and 5. The perimeter
of pit 5 is appro,.imately 1/00 ft that will require fill from stockpiles on site.
Pit 6
All of pit 6 appeared to have proper sloping. when the crusher is removed and central processing area is
reclaimed the south Wept corner may be affected. Some minor reseeding is likely to result but overall
this pit is well reclaimed.
Pit i
Staff was unable inspect pit 7, per previous inspection reclamation is complete. Prior to release staff will
inspect for proper sloping.
pit 3
