There are no major concerns regarding vegetation that were identified during this inspection. <br />However, possible reseeding may be necessary to ensure vegetation establishment is successful <br />along the reconstructed embankment of the Working Pond. <br />Signs and Markers (Rule 4.02) <br />The mine identification sign at the mine site entrance is intact and contained all necessary <br />information in accordance with 4.02.2. <br />Roads (Rule 4.03) <br />All roads traveled were in good shape and no signs of inadequate drainage were observed, with <br />the exception of minor erosion noted along the access road that leads to the West Taylor Pond. <br />There were several locations along this road that have eroded and will require maintenance. <br />Maintenance items identified during inspection: <br />• CCC will need to remove cleanout material that has been stockpiled on the embankment <br />of the West Taylor Pond; <br />• CCC will need to ensure erosional features that were identified along the access road to <br />the West Taylor Pond have been repaired; <br />• CCC will need to reinstall the hay wattles along the out slope of the embankment at the <br />Working Pond so as to ensure success of the intended functionality and design is <br />achieved. <br />General Compliance: <br />No disturbances to areas outside the permit area were noted. <br />No compliance issues were noted and no enforcement actions were taken as a result of this <br />inspection. <br />3 <br />
