August 27, 2015 C-1981-014/Southfield Mine RDZ
At the two discharge sites of the former loadout pond areas, there is no sign of sediment loading off of the areas.
At the west side, the silt fence has recently been repaired. At the east end the silt fence is still sagging but does
not appear to be a problem; it is still functioning. Furthermore, the good vegetation growth is helping prevent
erosion.
TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
Two topsoil stockpiles were observed: the one near the gravel parking lot in the facilities area and the one
at the northwest corner of the RDA.
