Skies were clear, and temperatures reached the lower 80T's. Tom Bird accompanied me throughout <br /> the field inspection of the King I and II surface facilities. <br /> PERMITTING UPDATE: <br /> TR-20 Coal Mine Waste for Highwall Backfill <br /> o On June 9,2015, the Division issued a supplemental adequacy item,requesting that GCC <br /> develop a sampling plan for further analysis of the acid- and toxic-forming potential of coal <br /> mine waste. A sampling plan is being developed. A request for extension of the decision date to <br /> 15 October 2015 has been made. <br /> o GCC is working with its geotechnical consultant to prepare a response to the Division's <br /> Nov. 14,2014 adequacy review. <br /> TR-24 Midterm Review Response <br /> o The Division issued an adequacy review on 14 June 2015. On 14 July the Division <br /> received a response to the 14 June 2015 letter addressing unresolved adequacy <br /> items. The Division is reviewing this submittal. The decision date has been extended to <br /> 30 September 2015. <br /> TR-25 Surface Water Hydrology <br /> o This revision was received, found complete on 10 July 2015 and DRMS is in the process of <br /> reviewing for adequacy. <br /> TOPICS OUTSTANDING FROM PREVIOUS INSPECTIONS: <br /> June 2015: <br /> The main haul road at King II was in good condition.
