8/25/2015 State.co.us Executive Branch Mail - Re: Twentyrnile cultural resource inventory report
previously provided. As referenced on revised page 2.04-9.1, the recently submitted Cultural Resource
survey report addresses this area (see Figure 1, page ix). As noted in the previous response, the survey
report is to be inserted at the back of the existing information in Exhibit 6L, in the Confidential Volume.
Relative to the wildlife consultation information to be included in Exhibit 23C, I would suggest that my e -mai'.
of 08/06/15 to Jared Ebert (which included the 08/06/15 e-mail response from Justin Pollock to Jerry
Nettleton) and the CPW 04/21/14 Consultation Letter (James Haskins to Jerry Nettleton) would provide
appropriate documentation.
Submittal of a cultural resource survey report covering areas of potential subsidence associated with longw
mining within the Wolf Creek Reserve, which had not been covered by previous surveys, was not previously
identified as a completeness or adequacy concern for PR14-10, however, it was identified as a completenes
concern for PR15-11, and would be similarly applicable to areas potentially affected by PR14-10. As
referenced on revised page 2.04-9.1, the recently submitted Cultural Resource survey report addresses this
area (see Figure 1, page ix). As noted in the previous response, the survey report is to be inserted at the ba
of the existing information in Exhibit 6L, in the Confidential Volume. I
Responses to the other outstanding adequacy issues for PR14-10 were submitted to the CDRIVIS on
08/12/15. In those responses, it was noted that the federal coal Lease Modification is still pending. While we
continue to work cooperatively with the BLM to finalize the required background information and
environmental analyses, the BLIVI has not given us a firm timeframe for finalization of the leasing process.
Given this consideration, we are requesting that the decision date for PR14-10 be extended tMOoe9,
2015.
1 11111111111111 , ill
7011171-1 "Imm M -
Response: Exhibit 7K was previously submitted with PR14-10. The CIDRIVIS has a copy of this exhibit, and
a duplicate was not submitted with PR15-11 because it is fairly voluminous, and nothing has changed for
PR15-11. As discussed with the CIDRIVIS, TC anticipates proceeding under either PR14-10 or PR15-11,
depending on the timing of approvals for the pending federal Lease Modification, and Exhibit 7K can be
inserted into the PAP for whichever revision is approved first.
https:flmail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2&ik=e29129fcb5&view=pt&search=inbox&th= 14f619163d88d18e&sirnl= 14619163d88d18e 2/4
