All other wells listed on Table 7, Ground Water Monitoring Well Inventory, or located on Map 13, Twentymile <br />Park Hydrology, are completed in units other than the Wadge Overburden. <br />Seasonal water level variations in ground water monitoring wells are graphically depicted in Figure 3, Well <br />Hydrographs, and data are listed in Table 8, Ground Water Data. The hydrograph for Well 006 -82 -48 (Figure 3 -b), <br />completed in the Wadge Overburden shows some seasonal variation on the order of 10 to 15 feet, but does not <br />show any trend of drawdown that might indicate effects from underground mining. This is the closest Wadge <br />Overburden monitoring well down gradient of the 1983 mine plan area. The fact that the well did not show effects <br />from mining indicates that drawdown from the mine was limited in areal extent. A potentiometric map for 1985 <br />would not show any differences from the 1983 map and therefore was not constructed. <br />The direction of ground water movement in the Wadge Overburden is generally towards the center of the <br />Twentymile Park Basin, as shown by the configuration of the potentiometric surface for this unit (Map 13, <br />Twentymile Park Hydrology). Recharge occurs along the outcrop of the sequence where unconfined ground water <br />conditions exist locally. <br />Groundwater monitoring data presented in the Annual Hydrology Reports submitted through 2013 indicate that <br />water levels in Wadge Overburden monitoring wells have varied, depending on location. Hydrographs for Wells <br />009 -79 -4 and 006- 82 -74C south and southwest of the mine show little change other than small seasonal <br />fluctuations. However, hydrographs for Wells 006 -87 -01 and 91M006 near the middle of the mine and Well <br />93M00l near the southwestern corner of the eastern part of the mine show significant declines since the early- to <br />mid- 1990s, presumably in response to mine dewatering. The water -level in Well 91M006 declined about 600 feet <br />between 1992 and 2005 and about 125 feet additionally between 2005 and 2010; between 2010 and 2013, the water <br />level in 91M006 rose about 40 feet. The water level in Well 93M00l declined about 440 feet between 1995 and <br />2002, but only an additional 28 feet between 2002 and 2013. Water level data from 2013 show the potentiometric <br />surface sloping from the east, south and southwest toward a low point at Well 91M006 near the center of the mine <br />area. <br />TR13 -83 2.04 -21.1 11/03/14 <br />
