Project Number: 74201125NO <br />Project: Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Fill (VLF) Week Ending: August 1, 2015 <br />Location: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine, CO <br />Contractor: Ames Construction, Inc. <br />Reporting Period: 7.26.2015 through 8.1.2015 <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges During Week Weather Conditions During Week: <br />Highs: 63°F to 79°F Cloud Cover: Cloudy to Mostly Cloudy <br />Lows: 44°F to 50°F Precipitation: Rain <br />Wind: Calm to moderate <br />Ames: Continuing construction tasks for the Valley Leach Facility (VLF). <br />Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />1) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (PSSA, Phase 1, and 2) <br />Structural Fill: <br />The following Structural Fill haul to fill and grading activities occurred: <br />A GPS equipped Cat D7 dozer and a GPS equipped Cat D6 dozer graded upslope from stations <br />D5+00 to D7+00. <br />A John Deere excavator loaded Cat 740 haul trucks with Structural Fill in the vicinity of station <br />D10+00. A Cat dozer placed the material between stations F24+00 to F28+00. A Cat smooth <br />drum roller compacted the fill area. <br />A Cat dozer finish graded slopes and a Cat smooth drum roller compacted slopes between <br />stations D10+00 to DM1+00 and FM4+00 to FM8+00. <br />A Cat dozer knocked down the stockpiled Structural Fill between stations N20+00 and N22+00. <br />A Cat excavator loaded stockpiled material into Cat 740 haul trucks from the slope above the <br />ADR Haul Road station 19+00.
