materials processing area. The east half of Cell 4 is currently being used to
stockpile overburden from the west half of Cell 4. Following mining of Cell 2, the
east half of Cell 4 will be stripped and mined. Finally, the plant will be removed
from the west half and that area will be mined and hauled offsite.
There will be no phasing of the mining plan as indicated in the previous permit
application.
Table 6.4.4-2 Mining Timetable Summary
Mining Cell Mining Activity Approximate
Dates
Cell 2 Strip and Stockpile Topsoil 2013-2014
Cell 2 Strip and Stockpile Overburden 2013-2016
Cell 2 Mine Pit Run 2014-2017
Cell 4 Strip and Stockpile Topsoil 2013-2019
Cell 4 Strip and Stockpile Overburden 2013-2019
Cell 4 Mine Pit Run 2016-2019
f) The Nature of Deposit to be Mined and Overburden
The thickness of sand and gravel to be mined varies from 0-14 ft.
