Mr. Rob Tuber
August 3, 2015
Page 4
ITEM 12. The scales on the maps (e.g., Figure A2) are incorrect. Please correct these errors.
Response: The scale bars have been corrected. Pages Exh. 7-23A-8 through 11, representing
Figures A2 through A5, are revised and resubmitted.
Exhibit 7-23, Part B
ITEM 13. Figure B-1 has pond names that are inconsistent with other parts of the submittal.
Please make this consistent.
Response: The pond names in Exh. 7-23B and the pond names shown on Exh. 7, Item 23, Figure
B-1 have been revised as necessary to track exactly with the names of the same structures in
Exhibit 7, Item 23, Part C. Page (Exh.7-2313-1) and Exh. 7 Item 7, Figure B-1 are resubmitted
herewith.
ITEM 14. Figure B -I is missing the Middle Pond. Please correct.
Response: Middle Pond has been added to Exh. 7, Item 23, Figure B-1 and the figure is being
resubmitted as noted above.
ITEM 15. Table 1 says that the lower portion of the D-2 Ditch will be vegetated. It appears that
it should say riprap. Please address this apparent error.
Response: The lower reach of Ditch D-2 was modeled as rip -rap lined, with D50 of 6". Exhibit
7-2313, Table 1 has been revised accordingly and is resubmitted. The SEDCAD model has not
been revised.
Exhibit 7-23, Part C
ITEM 16. For four of the ponds in Table 1, the peak discharge is the same for primary and
emergency spillways. Please address this apparent error.
Response: When both the primary and emergency spillways are engaged, SEDCAD does not
provide splits on the separate flows in each. When only the primary is engaged, the emergency
spillway obviously has "zero" flow. This is an important item as the regulations prohibit use of
the emergency spillway in a 10 year storm. Accordingly, we continue to provide the individual
spillway flow splits in the 10 year storm mainly to demonstrate that the emergency spillway is
not being engaged. However, for the 100 year flow this distinction adds nothing of value,
requires a manual interpolating calculation from SEDCAD data which does not appear in the
output tables, and cannot be directly verified from the output tables alone. Accordingly, we are
modifying the table Exhibit 7-23C, Table 1 to present the 100 year routed outflow from all active
