July 30, 2015 C-1982-057/Seneca II -W Mine JHB
keep the noxious weeds from reinvading.
SCC appears to be keeping abreast of weed control efforts.
Of note -one small, —5 ft. diameter patch of Jointed Goatgrass was observed at the head of PM-Trib-213. It appears
to have been brought in with rip rap rock used to armor this drainage. Although this patch is currently small, it is
of concern as it appears at the head of the drainage, and it is in an area that no other Goat grass had previously
been identified. Immediate control is recommended prior to cattle grazing in this area that could lead to further
spread of this Noxious weed.
SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02:
SCC has placed mine id signs at appropriate locations at access points on to the permit area. Updates to
phone contact is needed to assure public can contact the operator if necessary.
DOCUMENTS RECEIVED The operator provided Second Quarter 2015 Sediment and Stock tank inspection
reports, and Second Quarter 2015 DMRs.
OTHER (SPECIFY) None
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE
No enforcement actions were taken as a result of this inspection.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 1
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 0
Page 4 of 7
