M-1980-2 dM -1988-026; Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company <br />("CC&V"); Cresson Project and Chicago — Proposed Technical Revisions and Amendment <br />11 update <br />Dear Mr. Cazier: <br />I am writing to follow up on our conversation during your inspection on 21 July 2015 regarding <br />upcoming Technical Revisions (TR) at ECOSA and Chicago and the proposed content of <br />Amendment 11. During 2015 CC&V has continued to refine its mine plans and therefore I <br />would like to keep DRMS apprised of our current plans. <br />M-1980-244 and M-1988-026 Proposed Technical Revisions and Permitting Activities <br />There are two primary permitting activities required by this effort, which are: <br />• Technical Revisions: <br />o Chicago Tunnel/Proper Adit (M-1988-026) TR: TR -4 will be submitted to <br />modify language in the permit regarding milling operations and to allow for <br />rock brought to the surface to be hauled to permanent storage areas on the Main <br />Cresson Property. An updated land survey of the Chicago Tunnel/Proper Adit <br />permit boundary also will be provided with TR -4. Note, depending on timing, <br />TR -4 activities may be incorporated into Amendment 11 as discussed below. <br />o Main Cresson (M-1980-244) Technical Revision: A TR for an interim ECOSA <br />design to add additional height for overburden storage that was originally slated <br />
