Please evaluate the number of acres actually disturbed at the Foidel Creek <br />Mine; and submit a revised 2014 ARR form and Disturbed Area table that <br />indicate the actual number of acres disturbed in 2014 and cumulatively. <br />c. The report indicates that no backfilling and grading activities were conducted in 2014. <br />d. The report indicates that topsoil was not applied to any reclaimed area during 2014. <br />TC indicates that 18.6 acres were seeded in 2014. Based on the 2014 Revegetation <br />Seeding Table submitted with the ARR, this area includes the refuse pile out -slope (3.0 <br />acres), 2014 drill pads (3.6 acres) and 2014 drill roads (12.0 acres). The cover letter <br />indicates that 55 acres were seeded for temporary stabilization or supplemental <br />reclamation seeding purposes. The 55 acres reported appears to include the 18.6 acres <br />reported to have been seeded for final reclamation. The location of seeding operations is <br />depicted on Map 29 (Reclamation Map) submitted with the ARR. Seed tags were <br />included with the ARR. <br />i. The location of the 12.00 acres associated with the 2014 drill roads is not <br />depicted on Map 29. Please revise this map to depict the location of these <br />reclaimed roads. <br />f. Map 29 depicts areas that have been planted through 2014. <br />(2) TC indicated they conducted weed control spraying of about 790 acres (690 of which were aerial <br />sprayed). The Division acknowledges this concerted effort and encourages future weed control <br />activities. <br />The Division requests that TC respond to the items noted above by August 28, 2015.
