The reclamation had good vegetative cover. <br />- The light -use road to pad E3-44 and E3-47 was backfilled and graded and blended well with the surrounding <br />undisturbed areas. The reclaimed road meets AOC. There was positive drainage off of the road and no erosional <br />problems were noted. The reclamation had a fair amount of slash and good vegetative cover. <br />- There was a short, approximately 100 -foot long spur to drill pad E3-47 off of the main light -use road. This spur <br />was backfilled and graded and blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas. The reclaimed road spur <br />meets AOC. There was positive drainage off of the road and no erosional problems were noted. The reclamation <br />had a lot of slash and good vegetative cover. <br />- The short road spur to drill pad E3-55 was backfilled and graded and blended well with the surrounding <br />undisturbed areas. The reclaimed road spur meets AOC. There was positive drainage off of the road and no <br />erosional problems were noted. The reclamation had a lot of slash and good vegetative cover. <br />- There was a short, approximately 50 -foot long spur to drill pad E3-59/61/63 off of the main light -use road. This <br />spur was backfilled and graded and blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas. The reclaimed road spur <br />meets AOC. There was positive drainage off of the road and no erosional problems were noted. The reclamation <br />had a lot of slash and good vegetative cover. <br />- The light -use roads to pads E3-64/65, E3-68/72 and E3-75/76/78 were not reclaimed and are not a part of the <br />Partial Phase I Bond Release S1-08 application. These light -use roads were all well maintained and stable and no <br />erosional problems were noted at the time of the inspection. There was a lot of Canada thistle along the road cut <br />to drill pad E3-75/76/78 that will need to be sprayed. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15: Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />- All of the reclaimed pads and roads in the Partial Phase I Bond Release SL -08 application had good to excellent <br />vegetative cover. They were all on US Forest surface and seeded with the required USFS mix. The amount of <br />vegetation was incredible for sites that were reseeded in 2014. <br />TOPSOIL — Rule 4.06: Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br />Redistribution 4.06.4: <br />- Topsoil was redistributed on all of the pads and roads listed in the Partial Phase I Bond Release SL -08 <br />application with the exception of E3-64/65 and E3-68/72, which are remaining open for future mine ventilation <br />boreholes for the B -Seam. Topsoil depths were not checked, as it was apparent that all of the topsoil was <br />redistributed. There were no remaining topsoil piles at any of these sites and all of the sites had good to excellent <br />vegetative cover.
