- Drill pad E3-32.5 was backfilled and regraded. The pad was stable and there were no signs of slumping, settling
or cracking. The pad blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas and AOC has been achieved. There
was positive drainage off of the pad and no erosion was noted. The borehole was plugged but there was no
marker in place. A borehole marker will need to be installed prior to approval of SL -08. Topsoil has been
spread on the pad and there was excellent vegetative cover. There were no weeds noted on the pad.
- Drill pad E3-36 was backfilled and regraded. The pad was stable and there were no signs of slumping, settling or
cracking. The pad blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas and AOC has been achieved. There was
positive drainage off of the pad and no erosion was noted. The borehole was plugged but there was no marker in
place. A borehole marker will need to be installed prior to approval of SL -08. Topsoil has been spread on the

to help control erosion and runoff. The borehole was plugged but there was no marker in place. A borehole

- Drill pad E3-44 was backfilled and regraded. The pad was stable and there were no signs of slumping, settling or

noted. The borehole was plugged but there was no marker in place. A borehole marker will need to be
installed prior to approval of SL -08. There was a large amount of slash on the pad. The topsoil has been spread
on the pad and there was good vegetative cover. There were no weeds noted on the pad.
- Drill pad E3-55 was backfilled and regraded. The pad was stable and there were no signs of slumping, settling or
cracking. The pad blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas and AOC has been achieved. There was
positive drainage off of the pad and no erosion was noted. There was slash and some straw wattles placed on the
steeper portions of the pad. The borehole was plugged but there was no marker in place. A borehole marker
will need to be installed prior to approval of SL -08. Topsoil has been spread on the pad and there was good
vegetative cover. There was a lot of Canada thistle on the pad that will need to be sprayed.
- Drill pad E3-59/61/63 was backfilled and regraded. The pad was stable and there were no signs of slumping,
settling or cracking. The pad blended well with the surrounding undisturbed areas and AOC has been achieved.
There was positive drainage off of the pad and no erosion was noted. There was a large amount of slash on the
pad. The three boreholes were plugged but there were no markers in place. Borehole markers will need to be
installed prior to approval of SL -08. Topsoil has been spread on the pad and there was good vegetative cover.
There were no weeds noted on the pad.
- Drill pad E3-64/65 was not backfilled or regraded. The pad is being left open for possible mine ventilation
boreholes for the future B -Seam mining. Only the borehole plugging and abandonment will be released in SL -08.
The boreholes were plugged and sealed and markers were in place. Topsoil has not been spread on the pad but the
pad was seeded for stability and erosion control until it is needed. There was good vegetative cover on the pad and
excellent vegetative cover on the topsoil pile. There were no weeds noted on the pad or the topsoil pile.
- Drill pad E3-68/72 was not backfilled or regraded. The pad is being left open for possible mine ventilation
boreholes for the future B -Seam mining. Only the borehole plugging and abandonment will be released in SL -08.
