Based on your letter data July 7, 2015, our office has prepared the following further information
to address you questions about the Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting Application for
Golden Sacramento. Please see the specific responses below.
1. Please submit a U.S. G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle map, or similar map of adequate
scale that identifies the proposed prospecting sites or activity areas involving
surface disturbance. This includes the location of all drill holes, drill pads,
stockpiles and prospecting roads.
The attached NOI Map 1 shows the location of the site on a USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map.
NOI Map 2 shows all of the prospecting activity on site.
2. The Applicant has indicated the proposed amount of material to be moved is '10'.
Please clarify the volume of material to be moved and specify if this applies to the
drill holes, drill pads or road construction.
A grand total of 10 cubic yards of material will have to be moved as part of this NOI. This
includes material removed from the holes, dirt moved as part of land leveling for the pads, and
dirt movement for the access road.
3. The Applicant has stated a crossing will be excavated at Platte Drive. Please
provide a brief description of the type of crossing that needs to be excavated. In
addition, please explain why the crossing will be removed if the road is to remain.
The "crossing" will be a small amount of fill to facilitate equipment driving off of the road and
onto the property. There is a very small roadside "ditch" along the road, however it does not
carry water very often, therefore a culvert is not necessary.
The "crossing" is being removed at the landowner request to limit access to his property after
prospecting is complete.
