ITEM 16. For four of the ponds in Table 1, the peak discharge is the same for primary and emergency
spillways. Please address this apparent error.
ITEM 17. In Table 1 emergency spillway lengths appear incorrect for some ponds. On drawings they
look longer than 20 feet. Please address this apparent error.
ITEM 18. Scales on some figures are incorrect (e.g., Fig C-3 in Exhibit 7-23). Please check these and
correct as necessary.
ITEM 19. On page Exh. 7-23C-1, in the third paragraph, the term "Practice Factor" is used. It appears
that this should be "Cover Factor" instead. Please address this apparent error.
ITEM 20. Please explain the origin of the L (most are 145 feet) and S (most are 31 %) input values.
ITEM 21. In particle size distribution there is a discrepancy ingrain size curve: is 33% less than 0.040
mm or 0.004 mm? There maybe a typo on page 7 in Exhibit 7 (revised with TR -95). Please address this
apparent error.
ITEM 22. In design specs, "borrow" sources should replace "sorrow" sources.
ITEM 23. Please address the following apparent errors and questions related to the Sidehill Pond design.
• There is no primary spillway on plan view.
• Is the pink line the location of the 18" CMP?
• The spillway pipe slope is unclear. In SEDCAD it is 4%, drawing says 2.1%, and elevations (on
drawing there is 1.9' drop over 125') indicate 1.5%. (Please check for all ponds.)
• There is no spec for materials of riser pipe (same for other ponds).
• Is the height of the riser pipe incorrect in Table 1 and in SEDCAD run? The value of 13 feet
contradicts the drawing; it looks like it should be 5.5 feet. (Possibly switched with Section 26
Pond.)
ITEM 24. Regarding the Section 26 Pond, is the height of riser pipe incorrect in Table 1 and in
SEDCAD run? It is 13 feet on the drawing. Please address this apparent error.
ITEM25. The term "Sec 36 Middle Pond" in SEDCAD is confusing. Should it be "Middle Pond"`?
Please revise if SEDCAD is re -run.
ITEM 26. Regarding the Section 36 Pond, the barrel diameter is 24" in Table 1 but 18" on drawing.
Please address this apparent error.
ITEM 27. Regarding the Middle Pond bottom elevation, the drawing and Table 1 are not in agreement.
Please address this apparent error.
