Reclamation Plan <br />1. General Reclamation Plan <br />Exhibit D <br />Surface topography and topsoil and a majority of the vegetation will be undisturbed by the removal <br />of the boulders. Mechanical brushing of the area will occur after the boulder removal but will not <br />damage the root systems of the plants including the oak brush. The chips from the brushing operation <br />will be left in place to further prevent erosion. This will ensure that erosion will not be an issue for <br />the site. Boulder piles will be removed when onsite use or offsite demand occurs. Reclamation has <br />occurred on the 1 acre parcel near the house and outbuildings. <br />The image below is of a rotary Brush Hog Cutter (mechanical brusher). Please not the limited impact <br />it has on the soil. The expected disturbance within the project area would be this plus some track <br />skid marks from the excavator used to remove the boulders. <br />Actual post -activity reclamation work will be limited to removal or replacement of the boulders <br />across an area. <br />Cottonwood Creek Fire Risk Mitigation Project June 2015 D-1 <br />
