The Application was filed for review on June 11, 2015. Our review indicates the NOI
application contains deficiencies as defined by Rule 5.1.3 of the Mineral Rules and Regulations
of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Hard Rock, Metal, and Designated Mining
Operations. The Division requires the information described below before we can approve the
NOI application.
1. Please submit a U.S.G.S. 7.5 minute quadrangle map, or similar map of adequate scale that
identifies the proposed prospecting sites or activity areas involving surface disturbance. This
includes the location of all drill holes, drill pads, stockpiles and prospecting roads.
2. The Applicant has indicated the proposed amount of material to be moved is `10'. Please
clarify the volume of material to be moved and specify if this applies to the drill holes, drill
pads or road construction.
3. The Applicant has stated a crossing will be excavated at Platte Drive. Please provide a brief
description of the type of crossing that needs to be excavated. In addition, please explain why
the crossing will be removed if the road is to remain.
4. The Applicant has indicated that the landowner would like the proposed prospecting road to
remain following the completion of the project. Please indicate if Golden Cross Aggregate is
the owner of the property on which prospecting will take place. If Golden Cross Aggregate is
not the landowner, then please provide a singed and notarized statement from the landowner
indicating that the road is to remain following the completion of the prospecting operation.
NQ o
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining.state.co.us I
John W.
