1. As required by Rule 1.6.2(1)(g), please submit proof the public notice was circulated to all
owners of record of surface lands, and easement holders that are on the affected land and
within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land. Proof of notice may be return receipts
of a Certified Mailing or by proof of personal service.
The only owners of record within 200 feet of the affected land are the USFS/BLM, as depicted on the
revised Mining Plan Maps, whom Red Rock Exploration, LLC (RRE) holds its claims with and has an
approved Plan of Operations (POO) through. The POO was attached to the original application and can
be referred to as proof of notice.
2. The Mining and Reclamation Plan Maps depict an intermittent stream to the south of the
proposed operation. As required by Rule 6.3.2(c), please identify this stream and provide any
available information regarding flow rates.
The intermittent stream to the south of the property is a seasonal snow melt pathway and only
recognized as an intermittent stream on certain base maps. This is not a regularly flowing stream and
therefore is not recognized, named nor is there any information regarding flow rates.
3. The Mining Plan states two adits are currently open and a third will be added. Please confirm
the decommissioned adit will not be utilized as a part of the proposed mining operation. In
addition, the adit should be clearly labeled as 'decommissioned' on the Mining Plan Map,
Currently, there are no plans to utilize the decommissioned adit though, there may be a point in the
future of this operation where RRE would reopen it if deemed necessary. At which point, a technical
revision to this permit application would be submitted with relation to reopening the decommissioned
adit.
4. The Mining Plan states portal stabilization and construction of the 20ft. portal entrance is
ongoing. Please clarify if this work has been completed and provide the Division with a
detail drawing of the portal enclosure.
The portal construction and stabilization has not yet been completed and is still ongoing. The portal was
approved in the original NO1 application which can be referred to for additional details. Upon
completion of the portal construction RRE will submit a technical revision with a final detailed sketch of
the portal enclosure.
