Can you please have your staff ensure, this Spring, Summer and Fall that these
reclamations are complete, especially the north cut, at the north end of the
permitted area, that did not take the grass seed you last planted?
We have had wonderful rains this May, and pray that the noxious weeds,
especially the Russian Thistle (tumbleweed) have been overtaken by native and
planted grass seed, but your staff will need to follow up with site visits to ensure
this potential. As you may have heard, the Russian Thistle has been a grievous
problem in this area the last two years, and we hope to stop their obnoxious
encroachment especially from the Mine Area from the disturbed lands.
Per the exit lease agreement we noted that reclamations should be complete and
the permit assigned over to us, to resume operations, albeit much smaller in
scope, initially.
Thank you again Mr. Miclette for your business and kindness these past 10 years.
Sincerely,
Jeff and Maria Jindra
Jemadojin Mine and Ranch Owners
16449 Dearing Road
Colorado Springs, CO 80928
719-683-6437
