Project Number: 74201125NO <br />Project: Squaw Gulch Valley Leach Fill (VLF) Week Ending: June 6, 2015 <br />Location: Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine, CO <br />Contractor: Ames Construction, Inc. <br />Reporting Period: 5.31.2015 through 6.6.2015 <br />Ambient Temperature Ranges During Week Weather Conditions During Week: <br />Highs: 60°F to 70°F Cloud Cover: Clear to cloudy <br />Lows: 40°F to 47°F Precipitation: Rain <br />Wind: Calm to moderate <br />Ames: Continuing construction tasks for the Valley Leach Facility (VLF). <br />Planning: Continuing construction activities and scheduling for the VLF. <br />CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND PROGRESS: <br />1) Earthworks <br />A) VLF (PSSA, Phase 1, and 2) <br />Note: An Amec Foster Wheeler field professional monitored fill material temperatures during fill <br />placement; average structural fill temperatures were above 32°F. All construction materials <br />placed were verified as suitable, and construction methods were in accordance with project <br />technical specifications. <br />Structural Fill: <br />The following Structural Fill haul to fill and grading activities occurred: <br />Cat dozers placed Structural Fill in the vicinity of UG #6588. A Cat excavator hammered <br />oversized material. A Cat smooth drum roller compacted the fill area. <br />Cat dozers graded the slope beneath the ball mill in the vicinity of HM 15+00 to HM20+00, <br />FM14+00 to FM16+00, JM8+00 to JM12+00, and FFO+00 to HHO+00. <br />A Cat D8 dozer and two Cat smooth drum rollers compacted subgrade using a thrust block and <br />cable between stations C10+00 and C11+00 (elevation 9550' to 9650'). <br />A Cat excavator removed excess Structural Fill in the vicinity of the tertiary underdrains installed <br />between stations A14+00 and A17+00. Cat 740 haul trucks hauled the material to C16+50.
