Skies were clear, and temperatures reached the upper 80s. Wade <br />Wymore accompanied me throughout the field inspection of the King II and King I surface <br />facilities. <br />PERMITTING UPDATE: <br />TR -20 Coal Mine Waste for Highwall Backfill <br />• On June 9, 2015, the Division issued a supplemental adequacy item, requesting that GCC <br />develop a sampling plan for further analysis of the acid- and toxic -forming potential of <br />coal mine waste. Submission of the proposed plan is required by June 30. <br />A request for extension of the decision date (currently June 30) will likely be required. <br />GCC is working with its geotechnical consultant to prepare a response to the Division's <br />Nov. 14, 2014 adequacy review. <br />TR -24 Midterm Review Response <br />• The Division issued an adequacy review on June 14. The decision date is July 14. <br />TR -25 Surface Water Hydrology <br />• Submission of this application is expected to occur on or prior to June 30. <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3) / 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4) / 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance <br />4.03.1(5) and (6) / 4.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7) / 4.03.2(7): <br />The main haul road at King II was in good condition. Mr. Wymore said GCC plans to grade <br />the road to re-establish cross slopes and facilitate drainage. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 11 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4 Page 2 of 9 <br />
