May 28, 2015 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine TNL <br />discharging. (photo) Pond embankments appeared stable. <br />Far East Buzzard Pond was dry. Sediment marker was present. Spillways were clear. <br />Coyote Pond was holding water but not discharging. The primary and emergency spillways were clear and <br />appeared functional. The dam appeared stable. Mine sign at Coyote Pond was present. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Archeological site 5MF948 was accessible during this inspection. Mine activity has not yet progressed to this area. <br />(photo) <br />Two draglines were operating in the L and K pit area. (photo) Queen Anne at K- pit, the Molly Brown was at the <br />top of L -pit, and the Baby Doe was not operating. <br />Material from pond cleaning is being placed east of the ash disposal road. (photo) <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The Ash Disposal Pit was observed. No issues were noted. Water is diverted around the ash disposal area <br />to Johnson drainage. <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Roads were in good condition, no issues were noted. <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS — Rule 4.02: <br />Permit Boundary and Topsoil markers were present.
