May 28, 2015 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine TNL <br />Dewatering from wells was going to A -pit at the time of the inspection. <br />The un -mapped culvert, previously described in April 2015 inspection, along the ash disposal road had increased <br />erosion. (photo) The erosion is primarily from road runoff and does not appear to be runoff from the ash disposal <br />area. <br />Deal Pond No. 1 was holding water, but not discharging. Spillway was clear. Banks appeared stable and were <br />well vegetated. Photos of pond and flume are shown below. <br />East Flume Pond contained water. The pond was not discharging. Spillway was clear. <br />East Middle Flume No. 1 Pond was holding water and discharging. The spillway was clear and functional. The <br />discharge was infiltrating before reaching the flume. The flume appeared to be in good condition. <br />Middle Flume No. l and No. 3 Ponds were holding water and discharging. Pond No. 3 was receiving water from <br />Pond No. 1 and discharging to the flume. Water was undercutting the flume. <br />Horse Gulch Pond was holding water but not discharging. The embankment appeared stable. <br />West Horse pond was holding water but not discharging to the flume. <br />Oak drainage appeared stable. Oak Pond No. 1 was holding water but not discharging. Oak Pond No. 2 was <br />holding water but not discharging. Animal holes were noted in Oak pond No. 2 embankment. Oak ponds appeared <br />stable; no slumping was observed. Spillways were clear. <br />West Flume No. 1 Pond was holding water, but not discharging. Sediment marker was present. Spillway was <br />clear. <br />Grouse Pond No.1 was holding water but not discharging. Embankment appeared stable and spillway was clear. <br />Culverts appeared clear and in good condition <br />Sage Ponds 1 and 2 were dry and appeared stable and well vegetated. <br />East Pyeatt Pond No. 1 was discharging. East Pyeatt Pond No. 2 was discharging. East Pyeatt Pond No. 3 was <br />discharging to the flume. <br />Middle Pyeatt Ponds 1, 2, and 3 appeared stable. Ponds 2 and 3 were dry. Flume was dry <br />West Pyeatt pond No.l was holding water but not discharging. West Pyeatt Pond No. 2 was dry. Sediment markers <br />were noted. Culverts above West Pyeatt were clear. <br />No Name Pond No. 5 was holding water and discharging to the flume. No Name Pond No. 4 was holding water <br />and discharging. The emergency spillway was dry and clear.
