The topsoil was marked with an identification marker.
OTHER:
The maintenance items listed below were observed during the April 7, 2015 inspection; the Division evaluated the
status of these items during this inspection.
The berm surrounding the coal storage area and water tank has eroded and is cutting into the CH -2
channel and will need to be repaired. During this inspection it was noted that Channel CH -2 is eroding
downstream from the berm. This channel drains to the upper sump. The channel embankment has eroded
through and needs to be repaired.
o The item remains outstanding. Mr. Cowman indicated that PSCM is completing the Rill and
Gully Survey to be submitted at the end of the month. Once this is complete, they will have a
comprehensive list of repairs they will conduct. Then they will mobilize equipment and materials
to make the necessary repairs.
Near the inlet to the Lower Sump from drainage FA -D8 where the drainage turns to drain into the sump,
the west side of the drainage is eroding and cutting into the slope above. PSCM will need to stabilize this
area.
o The item remains outstanding. PSCM's maintenance plan is discussed in the item above.
• The weir at Pond 003 is leaking and will need to be repaired.
o A new weir has been installed; however, it is leaking. According to Dennis Jones who works for
PSCM, they need to purchase a sealant that they will apply to the weir to stop it from leaking.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 9
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 4
Page 7 of 10
