May 26, 2015 C-1996-083/Bowie No. 2 Mine JDM <br />4 and towards the middle portion of bench 4. <br />Gob Pile #3 <br />No activity was observed on the gob pile at the time of the inspection. All equipment was idle on the pile at the <br />time of the inspection. Based on the photographs, there were no signs of erosion or instability of the pile and no <br />problems were noted, with the exception of the following: <br />- A small pool of water was noted on the northwest corner of the drying area. <br />Gob Pile #4 <br />Reclamation of the west side of Gob Pile #4 is completed. Cover material is placed on the three lower benches <br />that have been backfilled and graded to final configuration. The upper bench remains open for additional refuse <br />placement. Topsoil has been placed and erosion control mat is in place. The erosion control fabric on the far west <br />end of the lower bench has become detached, although there were no signs of erosion or instability of the area or <br />anywhere on the reclaimed pile.
