May 29, 2015 <br />Mike Cunningham <br />Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety <br />1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />RE: Sprague Stone; DRMS File No. M-2015-006 Adequacy Review No. 1 <br />Comment and Response <br />6.4.1 Exhibit A – Legal Description <br />No comment. <br />RESPONSE: none <br />6.4.2 Exhibit B – Index Map <br />No comment. <br />RESPONSE: none <br />6.4.3 Exhibit C – Pre -mining and Mining Plan Map(s) of Affected Lands <br />The Division requests a copy of Exhibit C.2: Mining Plan and Land Ownership Map <br />without the permit boundaries associated with the former Masonville Div <br />operation (M-1985-099). <br />RESPONSE: Turned off the Masonville Div (M-1985-099) permit boundaries in the <br />Exhibit C.2 -Mining Plan and Land Ownership Map. <br />As required by Rule 6.4.3(e), the Mining Plan Map shall portray the type of present <br />vegetation covering the affected lands. Please revise the Mining Plan Map to <br />include the type of present vegetation covering the affected lands. <br />RESPONSE: Added a note on Exhibit C.2 stating "the existing vegetation at the <br />quarry consists of big and little bluestem, blue grama and side -oats grama grasses <br />with mountain mahogany and ponderosa pine". <br />4. Please identify all entrances to the site on the Mining Plan Map. <br />RESPONSE: Labeled the two (2) site entrances on the Exhibit C.2. <br />R:\2000\2089.00 Sprague Quar DOCUMENTS\CORRESPONDENCE\COMMENTS\Sprague comment and response.docx <br />
