Mr. Lewicki
Page 7
May 21, 2015
41. Exhibit G states raw gravel crushing will occur. However, a crusher is not listed in the
Mining Plan under Section 3.0 Gold and Gravel Mine Facilities. Please clarify if gravel
crushing will occur. If so, specify where crushing will occur and revise the Mining Plan
accordingly.
6.4.8 Exhibit H — Wildlife Information
No comment.
6.4.9 Exhibit I — Soils Information
42. Please verify that topsoil from the JRS Mining LLC (M-2013-074) operation was salvaged
and specify the volume of a material which has been stockpiled.
6.4.10 Exhibit J — Vegetation Information
No comment.
6.4.11 Exhibit K — Climate
No comment.
6.4.12 Exhibit L — Reclamation Costs
43. The Division will calculate the required financial warranty once all of the adequacy issues
have been addressed.
6.4.13 Exhibit M — Other Permits and Licenses
44. The Applicant has stated that an APEN for emissions is not likely to be required since annual
production will be under 70,000 tons. Please specify if individual APENs will be needed for
the processing equipment and mining equipment.
45. Item No. 5 under Exhibit M states a Stormwater Management Plan is not needed since the
site will contain the 100 year 24 hour runoff. All permitted operations are required to have a
Stormwater Management Plan, but not necessarily a Stormwater Discharge Permit. In
addition, the Applicant has not demonstrated that runoff from a 100 year 24 hour
precipitation event will be contained on site. Please revise this statement accordingly.
46. Please commit to providing the Division with copies of all permits which have or will be
obtained for this operation.
