Quarterly monitoring of
B -Guch lower does not generate any useful
information.
C -Gulch Up
C -Gulch upper has been monitored since
Yes
2/28/1995. It has been noted as dry in all
monitoring events except one on
6/17/2001. There was not flow reported
on that date. Monitoring has shown there
is no flow in upper C -Gulch since it is
basically at the head of the C -Gulch
watershed. Quarterly monitoring of C-
Gulch upper does not generate any useful
information.
C -Gulch low
C -Gulch lower is monitored at a point
Yes
immediately above sediment pond C. The
point is monitoring water that comes off
the mine site that is subsequently
discharged in accordance with BRL's
discharge permit. Quarterly of monitoring
C -Guch lower does not generate any useful
information.
D -Gulch Up
D -Gulch upper has been monitored since
Yes
2/28/1995. It has been noted as dry in all
monitoring events. Monitoring has shown
there is no flow in upper D -Gulch since it is
basically at the head of the D -Gulch
watershed. Quarterly monitoring of D-
Gulch upper does not generate any useful
information.
D -Gulch Lo
D -Gulch lower has been monitored since
2/28/1995. It has been noted as dry in all
monitoring events. Monitoring has shown
there is no flow in lower D- Gulch. Lower D-
Gulch was covered during the construction
of gob pile #2 so there is really no D -Gulch
lower monitoring point. Quarterly
monitoring of D -Gulch lower does not
generate any useful information.
Sincerely,
J. E. Stow -e r
J. E.
