CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co. <br />ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec ' <br />SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster <br />wheeler <br />Miscellaneous: <br />Completed the welding/installation of the small water truck water stand HDPE pipe. <br />Amec personnel continued LVSCS pump monitoring and observation. <br />One Cat D6 dozer graded and contoured topsoil stockpile 34. <br />One Cat excavator began the excavation of the Phase 1 LLDPE liner anchor trench between <br />stations A0+00 and C0+00. <br />ADR2 - LVSCS - One Cat mini -excavator removed approximately one foot of previously placed fill <br />from around the LVSCS pipes in preparation for the construction of the LVSCS building <br />foundation. The material was replaced with approximately 6" of Low Volume Solution Control Fill <br />and approximately one foot of Soil Liner Fill for subsequent LLDPE liner work. The Soil Liner Fill <br />was tested for moisture content and compaction with passing results <br />B) Underground Workings: <br />The following work was performed on the Underground Workings during the reporting period <br />UG #6004 — Confirmatory drilling: 111 bore holes;—5,550LF; began the removal of shot rock. <br />Further remediation required. <br />UG #6116 — Excavated approximately 6' into competent rock; backfilled. Cat 330 excavator = 2.5 <br />hours T&M. Remediated. <br />UG #6118 — Excavated approximately 10' into competent rock; backfilled. Cat 330 excavator = <br />2.0 hours T&M. Remediated. <br />UG #6457 — Excavated approximately 8' into competent rock; backfilled. Cat 330 excavator = 0.5 <br />hour T&M. Remediated. <br />UG #6478 — Timbered shaft visually opened to approximately 30'; prepared drill access. Cat 330 <br />excavator = 1.0 hour T&M. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6531 — Began excavation and immediately located horizontal stope; excavation stopped; <br />determined larger equipment was required to continue; prepared equipment access. Further <br />remediation required. <br />UG #6535 — Excavated approximately 12' into competent rock; backfilled. Cat 330 excavator = <br />2.0 hours T&M. Remediated. <br />UG #6536 — Excavated approximately 20'— no bottom found; backfilled for safety and drill <br />access. Cat 330 excavator = 1.0 hour T&M. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6576 — Cat D10 dozer and Cat CS56 compactor backfill and compact in preparation for <br />geogrid installation. Further remediation required. <br />UG #6639 — One Cat 35D excavator and one Cat 289D loader cleared structural fill material in <br />preparation for future geogrid installation; prepared and compacted subgrade for geogrid <br />installation; began installation of geogrid; began placement of Select Structural Fill material over <br />the geogrid; began backfilling with Structural Fill material. Further remediation required. <br />
