The DRMS request for additional information was contained within the DRMS
Review of TR -36 application, dated April 7, 2015 and signed by Mr. Travis Marshall of the
Grand Junction DRMS office. NS' response follows:
1) Please provide a reclamation cost estimate for the proposed structures and
increased disturbance.
NS estimates direct reclamation costs for the proposed plant expansion and increased
disturbance to total approximately $1.1 million.
2) Please provide the approximate volumes of the proposed buildings.
NS has slightly modified the configuration of the proposed buildings for the mine plant
expansion that was submitted to the DRMS on March 25, 2015. This new configuration
better utilizes existing disturbance and maintains the previous proposed building
footprint of approximately 90,000 square feet. Please refer to the enclosed Conceptual
Processing 500K TPY Plant Detail Map (CONFIDENTIAL) for additional details.
a.
