The Colowyo <br />employees who participated in the on- the - ground field inspection were Marty Stearns and Kurtis Blunt. The <br />weather was clear. The ground was mostly dry. <br />In the South Taylor Pit there was the following activity: <br />One drill rig was present near the southwest corner of the pit, in a relatively high seam. <br />The highwall miner was producing coal along the eastern wall; it has advanced to approximately half way along <br />the east side. <br />The 114 shovel was idle at the time of the inspection. It is sitting south of the highwall miner in the southeast <br />corner of the pit. <br />The 115 excavator has been operating but was idle at the time of the inspection. <br />The 103 dragline was approximately in the middle of the pit. It appeared to be walking south. <br />A large amount of coal has accumulated in the coal stockpiles on site. There has not been a shipment to the Craig <br />Station since March 27, 2015. Because of this pause in the use of the railroad tracks, maintenance is being <br />performed on the scale <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION — Rule 4.17: <br />Water trucks were seen in operation during the inspection. <br />BACKFILL and GRADING — Rule 4.14 <br />Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1; Approximate Original Contour 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); <br />Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br />Significant work has been completed in the 2015 reclamation block, although no equipment was on site at <br />the time of the inspection.
