MANAGEMENT
The DRMS' letter dated March 9, 2015 requested additional information. On behalf of
Bowie Resources, LLC, enclosed is the revised data.
Note about adequacy response: Borrow area #3 will no longer be utilized for final
reclamation. The upper diversion ditch was constructed at a slightly different location
on the hillside than the design called for, which makes usage of #3 no longer feasible.
Instead, a new borrow area will be created in the footprint of the current coven%//
stockpile that is north and east of Pond F. Review of Map -17 indicates that the current
stockpile location was situated between two ridges. Upon removal of the coven%// from
stockpile, this area will be developed for final reclamation purposes and graded to a
2H.•1 V slope angle. Approximately 52,000 CY of cover will be generated from this
location. With such a large volume of cover%/// to be generated in this new area, borrow
area #1 will no longer be necessary. Borrow areas #1 and #3 as they were initially
proposed, will be removed from consideration with this adequacy response. Anew
borrow area #1 will be in the footprint of the existing coven%// stockpile. Borrow area
#2 as originally proposed will continue to be part of the reclamation plans
1. DRMS: Approved page 4A in Volume IX provides a map titled Gob Pile
Revisions with each portion of Gob Pile #2 delineated with the revision
number. This page was not included in the proposed revised text
associated with TR -98. Please revise page 4A of Exhibit IX to
include the areas associated with TR -98.
BRL: Please see revised Page 4A.
