c) name(s), addressees), telephone and facsimile numbers of the Operator's contact person <br />for additional information and follow -up by the Division of Minerals and Geology's Office; <br />d) monitoring and analysis that are necessary to evaluate the situation and corrective action, <br />copies of all pertinent data; and <br />e) results of the Operator's investigation to assess the conditions or circumstances that <br />created the emergency situation, and what corrective or protective measures will be taken <br />to prevent a similar event from occurring in the future. <br />A nationwide notification system has been established for potentially hazardous materials spills <br />during shipping. The Chemical Manufactures Association's Chemical Transportation Emergency <br />Center (CHEMTREC) is located in Washington D.C. (phone number: 1- 800 - 424 - 9300). The <br />information specialist on duty will ask the name, location of the caller,'the name of the shipper, <br />the product, the shipping point and destination, what happened, weather conditions, proximity to <br />populated areas, etc. CHEMTREC will then give the caller recommendations for controlling the <br />emergency situation until the shipper specialist can relay help.
