April 8, 2015 C- 1982- 056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />required seed mixtures as approved in the permit. <br />PROCESSING WASTE /COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The refuse disposal area was observed. Water was discharging from the core drain of the pile and from the spring <br />that has developed adjacent to the core drain. The face of the fill appeared stable. <br />Refuse disposal area toe <br />ROADS — Rule 4.03; Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and, <br />Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />Previously noted maintenance item. <br />-The access road along Pond F is serving as a temporary lay -down area for longwall shields. This road displayed <br />deep rutting due to the heavy traffic in wet conditions. This road will require grading once shields are removed. <br />During this inspection the shields were still in place and the road was fairly rough. This item remains outstanding. <br />REVEGETATION — Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The Fish Creek Tipple Area was observed. TC has installed erosion control plastic waddles throughout this area <br />to help address some of the rills that have formed in the area. <br />The Old 18 RT Borehole area was observed. The area is stable and the vegetation is dense throughout the area <br />with exception of an area of re- disturbance that occurred within the pad area. Mr. Watterson was not sure why the <br />area was re- disturbed but this portion of the area may need to be inter - seeded. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />
