Major facilites shall monitor flow weekly, minor facilities 2 days /month <br />3 - If a visual sheen is noticed, a grab sample must be taken and analyzed for oil and grease <br />4 -Quarterly monitoring shall be prescribed if the limitation is based upon discharge to the Colorado River Basin. If the limitation is based upon agricultural protection, <br />the monitoring frequency shall be weekly. <br />* Alternate Limitations may also apply. See Below. <br />ALTERNATE LIMITATIONS FOR POST-MINING RECLAMATION AREAS <br />Any discharge or increase in the volume of a discharge from a reclamation area, caused by precipitation within any 24-hour <br />period greaser than the 10-year, 24-hour precipitation event (or snowmelt of equivalent volume) ~ substitute the following <br />limitations for these specific parameters only, subject to burden of proof requirements described in Part I.B.6 of the permit. <br />Sediment Control Plan - Applicable to Reclamation Areas Served by Outfalls 001- 005. <br />The Sediment Control Plan requirements in Part I.$.3.b. of the permit apply to the reclamation areas at this facility. The permittee <br />shall prepare and subnut a Sediment Control plan by Julv 1, 2009. The Division will review the Sediment Control Plan and approve <br />it. Once approved by the Division, the Sediment Control Plan will become a part of this permit certification by reference. <br />Compliance Schedule for Sediment Control Plan for Reclamation Areas <br />Code 12505 A Sediment Control Plan shall be prepared and submitted by July 1, 2009 for the Reclamation Areas as required under <br />Part LB.3.b. of the: CDPS General Permit for Coal Mining Facilities and 40 CFR 434.82. The plan required by this compliance <br />schedule shall be directed to the Industrial Unit of the Permits Section for final review. <br />12505 Submit Plan Submit Sediment Control Plan Part I.B.3.b. 07/01/09 <br />Other Conditions <br />Antide~radation <br />Antidegradation review does not apply to this permit because limitations based on Water Quality Standards are not applied in this <br />certification. <br />Groundwater Contamination <br />]f groundwater contamination is encountered, then the permittee is to contact the Division, cease all discharges, and if appropriate, <br />'t the owner of the collection system receiving the discharge.
