Mr. Brock Bowles
April 1, 2015
Page 4
output and coverage will be monitored closely to ensure adequate output. Any necessary
adjustments will be made to provide proper irrigation.
Item 8: What is WFC's plan to protect his 4 inch outlet valves and meter off the 26 inch
HDPE mainline that was provided by WFC?
Response: This outlet valve and meter were part of the "temporary" pipeline to the Burbridge
house until the permanent irrigations system was in place. The line, valves, and meter were
given to the Burbridge's to be used even after bond release. WFC will be responsible for them
until bond release. Provisions will be made to provide protective structures before any of the
property is sold or transferred.
Item 9: Mr. Burbridge has requested a tail water ditch be installed along the eastern
boundary of his property to irrigate the lower field prior to bond release.
Response: WFC is not allowed to install any ditches that are not part of the current plan. Any
disturbance of the reclaimed property, until bond release, may hinder the process.
Tri-State and the New Horizon Mine are dedicated to comply with the approved mining
permit, work directly with all surface landowner directly to satisfy their concerns, and to achieve
Phase III bond release in a timely manner to return the property fully back to the surface
landowner. If there should be any further questions or concerns in regards to items presented
above, please feel free to contact Tony Tennyson at (970) 824 -1232.
Sincerely,
Barbara A.
