March 31, 2015 C- 1981- 035/King Coal Mine MLT <br />• Drainage was not directed over the outslope of the fill, and the outslope did not appear to be <br />steeper than 2h:ly. <br />• Runoff from the undisturbed slope north of the Waste Pile is diverted away from the fill by a <br />clear water diversion ditch, located above the fill. Runoff from the surface of the pile is <br />collected by a series of ditches and pipes and ditches and conveyed to a sediment pond. <br />RE VEGETATION Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br />The outslope of the refuse pile was covered with available non -toxic and non - combustible <br />material and seeded a few years ago. Revegetation efforts appear to have been successful. <br />AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION— Rule 4.17: <br />• The King II haul road had been treated with Magnesium Chloride in the two weeks since the <br />last (March 17) inspection.
