CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING Co.
ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI (COLORADO) amec
SQUAW GULCH (VLF) WEEKLY REPORT foster
wheeler
Spent Ore:
Mine Operations hauled and stockpiled spent ore (SO) in the PSSA using Cat 793 haul trucks
and a Cat dozer. Spent ore elevations were maintained above the drain cover fill grade by a
minimum of 20 feet for 793 haul truck traffic.
Spent ore was placed and compacted as engineered fill beneath the footprint of the ADR2
foundation. COA monitoring was observed by New Fields.
Ames placed SO around the high volume solution collection system (HVSCS) riser piping and
confirmed that they were vertical plumb by surveyed prisms atop the risers. Amec confirmed that
rubber tired and dozer equipment stayed clear of the riser pipes during placement.
Snow was removed from the ADR Pad area, hauled, and dumped on the north side of the ADR2
platform outboard berm outside of the footprint of the engineered fill and within the PSSA
footprint.
Subgrade: Phase 2 rough subgrade preparation continued per project specifications. No
additional subgrade was approved during this reporting period.
Cameron Site: SLF processing continued periodically at the Cameron Site
Underdrain System:
Primary Underdrain: Complete.
Secondary Underdrain: Approximately 285 feet of secondary underdrain was installed near
station 115 +00 in Phase 2.
Tertiary Underdrain: No work was performed during this reporting period
Leak Detection: No work was performed during this reporting period.
B) Underground Workings:
An excavator removed shot rock from UG 6010. Further remediation is required.
Working UG 6600 was excavated approximately 25 feet to native ground, backfilled per project
specifications and is considered remediated.
Confirmatory drilling occurred at the west side of the Anaconda Mine Complex. Additional
remediation is required.
11) Storm Water Management
Best Management Practices (BMPs) are being performed.
