The HGLO consists of a partially <br />reclaimed train load out/load in facility, an unreclaimed rail loop, a substation, two sediment ponds, and an <br />unreclaimed haul road (Tie- Across Haul road). No activity has occurred recently on the HGLO. No mine <br />personnel remain on the site. No mine personnel accompanied the inspection. <br />Site conditions were muddy amd mild at the time of the inspection. No livestock were held in the reclaimed <br />facilities pasture at the time of this inspection. <br />The reclaimed load out site and Tie - across Haul road were inspected on 3/19/2015. Records were verified at the <br />Peabody Sage Creek Mine office on 3/20/2015. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS: Records were verified at the PSCM office located at the PSCM site . The <br />records form accompanies this report. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />There are two sediment ponds at the load out facilities area. The truck loop pond was holding a shallow <br />pool of water several feet below the primary discharge riser. There was no evidence that this pond had discharged <br />recently. The rail loop pond held a shallow pool of cloudy water. The water level was several feet below the <br />primary spillway elevation. There was no indication that the pond had discharged. No concerns were noted with <br />either pond. <br />All culverts under the rail loop were clear and flowing freely. <br />Culverts under the haul road were clear and flowing freely. <br />Dry creek was flowing well. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 3 <br />Page 2 of 4 <br />
