March 19, 2015 C- 1982- 056/Foidel Creek Mine JLE <br />-Two unidentified 4" diameter pipes were observed from the Area 1 Pit, under the access road, and to the Pond D <br />side embankment. These pipes were not functioning at the time of the inspection with one housing electrical cable <br />and the other empty. If these pipes are required, identification on appropriate maps is needed. If not required, all <br />non -coal waste will need to be disposed of. This item remains outstanding. <br />New maintenance items: <br />-The culvert under road C west of the rail tracks is about 1/2 full of sediment and will need to be cleaned. <br />-The drainage ditch leading to Pond T is damaged and the water is short circuiting to the pond. This ditch will <br />need to be repaired. <br />Damaged ditch to Pond T <br />-The access road culvert to Pond F adjacent to the warehouse is full of sediment and needs to be cleaned. There is <br />a highpoint in the ditch leading to this culvert allowing some water to pond. TC will need to grade and re- <br />establish positive drainage in this ditch. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />TC was mining in the 14 Left Panel at the time of the inspection. <br />PROCESSING WASTE /COAL MINE WASTE PILES — Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br />The CRDA was observed. Water was discharging from the underdrain and from the seepage <br />area noted west of the underdrain discharge point.
